Getting Started:

  1. Create your “DPI Project Manuscript” document using the “DPI Project Template” by saving and renaming the template accordingly as a Word document.
  2. As you move forward in this course, each individual assignment will tell you what to develop for that week’s submission for your DPI Project Manuscript. You will continue to refer to the instructions on the “DPI Project Template” for the specified content and required length and formatting for each page or section you develop.
  3. If there are pages or sections that are not yet assigned DO NOT delete them from your DPI Project Manuscript. You will address these later, so leave them as is. Altering the template/your manuscript by deleting pages can result in distortion to the formatting of the remaining pages, including the page numbers.
  4. The DPI Project Manuscript will be an ongoing assignment. Each time you submit a new chapter, include the previously completed chapters or sections, and continue to include the optional pages and sections or chapters that have not yet been completed.
  5. Information for some of the content areas/headings may be gleaned from previously completed assignments related to Chapter 1-3 of your DPI Project. However, the need for more detailed or expanded content in specific areas will be necessary to present your DPI Project thoroughly and accurately.
  6. Each manuscript must be submitted prior 11:59 PM Arizona on the required due date, as a single Word document, and in the format specified on the “DPI Manuscript Template.”
  7. In Topic 4, learners will revise their previous DPI Project Manuscript submissions (preliminary pages, Chapters 1-3, reference page, and the appendices) and resubmit as an improved draft for the Chair for review.

Directions:

Using your DPI Project Manuscript, develop Chapter 1 and the assigned pages or sections for your DPI Project. Follow the instructions in the “DPI Project Template” for the specified content and required length and formatting for each page or section.
